GONE tells the story of a muso who has achieved fame and fortune, but realises his love, his true love, is no longer with him, left behind somewhere in the past. Sometimes you can’t replace love with other things.
This rockin’ guitar takes you on stage with our muso, screaming into the crowd, searching for his love. The driving riff keeps the song moving towards the chorus, which speaks directly to the missing muse. The bridge melody sweeps listeners up in a past that is now dogging the hero and throws you straight back into the chorus for a big rock finish.
Reminiscent of 90’s rock, GONE’s storyline is a different approach for Flint, who usually rely on lyrics that are more open to interpretation. GONE is a rock love story, with a big, driving sound to take listeners on the journey.
